About Us

SANAM began as a feeling before it became a brand.

A feeling of slow mornings, fresh flowers in the house, printed fabrics laid out in soft light, and the quiet joy of getting dressed—even when there is nowhere to go.

I grew up in Dubai, surrounded by textiles through my father’s business. Fabrics were always a part of my world—something I saw, felt, and absorbed long before I understood them.

And yet, I didn’t study fashion. I didn’t formally learn printmaking or design.

What I had instead was instinct—and a vision I couldn’t ignore.

In 2022, I moved from Dubai to Jaipur, not knowing where to begin, but certain about what I wanted to build. 

What followed was a journey of learning everything from scratch—fabrics, sourcing, artisans, production, and the many unseen layers of building a brand.

Slowly, SANAM took shape.

Rooted in Jaipur and guided by memory and instinct, each piece is created with a focus on print, texture, and a certain kind of softness that feels timeless.

I’ve always believed that beautiful clothing shouldn’t be reserved for occasions.
